Miss Earth SA 2016 – Nozipho Magagula proudly represents South Africa in the Philippines
Twenty-one-year-old, Nozipho Magagula, from Pretoria has been crowned as Miss Earth SA 2016 in September this year.
The gorgeous medical student at The University of Pretoria, has a passion for rural healthcare and the environment. She wants to show people how one’s environment greatly impacts their health and that one cannot neglect the environment and mistreat it. Her love for our country and its people truly reflects in everything she does.
She is actively involved in projects that promote the protection of SA’s biodiversity and environment. These various Miss Earth projects include activities like planting trees and vegetable gardens, recycling and coastal clean-ups, to name a few. They do community and school outreaches and the strive to keep educating SA’s youth about their role in the environment.
The Miss Earth leadership programme gives young ladies the platform to help struggling communities and at the same time, follow their passion in life to create a more educated, sustainable and healthier Earth. The beauties of Miss Earth are all about empowering women, stopping harmful wastage and just loving life in general.
Nozipho is representing South Africa in the Philippines in October at the 2016 annual International Miss Earth competition. The event will be the 16th edition of the pageant. About 90 delegates from all over the world will participate in various environmental activities this month and compete to be the next rightful bearer of the Miss Earth crown.
Each unique delegate representing her country is a remarkable inspiration to women over the whole world.
